A town rich in Gold Rush History. .. Where James Marshall discovered Gold. More recently the Coloma area is known for it's outstanding white water river rafting on the South Fork of the American River. You can still pan for gold today in the historic Coloma State Park. Bring your camera as this is an extremely picturesque area.
